Announcing a new Book release 'Rainbow's End' by Corrie Mitchell plus my 5 Star review.

BLURB:

Thomas Ross is an eleven year old boy who has just been orphaned. He wanders off into the Northumberland woods with no idea of where he’s going, and after almost dying, finds himself in a place called Rainbow’s End. There he discovers that he is, in fact, a wizard, that fairies and dwarves and gods and witches really do exist; that his grandfather is a wizard himself – possibly the most powerful ever, and his grandmother, a gypsy…

But Wizardry is no simple matter – even if you were born to it… There are seven levels, linked to seven crystals, which in turn, represent the seven Universal elements. Each has to be mastered…

The Rainbow’s End Saga, is Thomas Ross’ journey. It’s a story about a young wizard and a grumpy old man... A story about dreams and magic; and fairies and dwarfs and little people. About an ancient race and demi-god twins; and children; an enchanted place where dreams really do come true. About choices and chances; and good and bad, and life and love and loss… and learning how to deal with them…

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Author Corrie Mitchell lives in Pretoria, South Africa, and is in his late 40's. He has always been an avid reader of fantasy and sci-fi fiction, and started working on The Rainbow's End Saga a few years ago.

Growing up, he claims to have lived in a 'fantasy world', and as a child, always wished there was some magical place he could escape to. This is where the idea for Rainbow's End came from. The ideas for Travellers and Wizards, and gods and magic, stem from his incredible imagination, and his awareness of what people really want to read.

He tried his hand at writing many times in the past, and has a few short-stories and poems under his belt. He found his true passion though, when inventing and writing Rainbow's End, and catering for the young-adult market.

Corrie Mitchell is currently working on the second book for Rainbow's End, which will be released in 2014.

My 5 Star review

I received the book from the author for an honest review.

It has been awhile since I have read a young adult fantasy story with so much enjoyment. An epic tale with wizards, magic and a strong human touch.A new and unique world called Rainbow's End. A world where dreams comes true, a world for children, and adults, if you want. Where you blink, sleep and dreams come true.

A book that young and old will enjoy.
Beautifully described, with ruby filled caves, rainbow colors and beautiful pools. The Travelers, using their crystals and powers of wizardry, rescue the destitute.

However, we have the evil side as well, represented by Kraylle, another demi-god that hates the sun and beauty.

An easy to read book which will leave you feeling good.

A book I can recommend to all readers, young and old.
