My 5 Star Review
I received the book from the Touring Host for an honest review.
Standing applause for this well written fast paced thriller! The ending had me dumbfounded, I just did not see it coming. The author's cunning writing kept me glued to the book as I read this book in one sitting. The intriguing world of teachers and pupils stepped up a notch with this thought provoking, and mind blowing thriller. You get so engrossed with the main character Cameron Baldridge life, his career, and that of his pupils that you are genuinely caught by surprise at the end. I do not want to give the plot away since it would spoil the whole surprise, but the magnitude of this man's actions and decisions made this story alive, believable and entertaining.
His constant struggle with a young woman he met while still in his teenage years ultimately set him on a course of exploration and love, always looking for the right woman, and every time he thought this is the one it back-fires on him big time.
The supporting roles of Hayley his fiance, John his mentor, Nikki, Samantha and Melani as some of his students made a huge impact on the story. Each had the ability to draw you in and keep you attention as the plot unfolds. With well written craftiness and interesting scenes the story draws you into his world and at times I pity Cam, and at times I wanted to shake him out of pure frustration. His obvious romantic heart and ideas trapped him in secrets and lies that he could not get away from, and at the end it cost him dearly.
Nobody Has to Know a well fitting name for the book as his life unravels into a cesspool of dirty and unforgivable consequences that will take you by surprise.
